  the light continues to get brighter, yada, yada, yada.. but, the bottom line is the watchtower claims everything comes from jehovah.

  books, magazines, videos, assemblies, to jw broadcast, to gb appointments, to dramas, even the music and sophia and caleb.

  heck, they would claim jehovah provides the toilet paper if they could.

  According to the WTS .... After the end of the 1,000 year reign of Jesus over the earth... those who stay loyal; only then are those humans granted the designation of Jesus's brothers, God's children.

  This of course is pure nonsense. Sonship is experienced immediately upon acceptance of Christ as a substitution for your sin debt:

  But who does a regular JW sees as a brother or sister to Jesus?

  They see whoever the Watchtower tells them to see.
  
  Ironically, Christs brothers really do include the 144,000 because they are from the literal tribes of Israel. Jesus was, and is an Israeli. They are all brothers.

  These are Christs brothers who will be evangelizing the world during the Great Tribulation. Church Age believers (Christians) will be long gone by then in the Rapture.
  
  During this time God prepares the nation of Israel and the world for the 2nd coming of Christ who will defeat the Anti-Christ and save the world from all of his various wars that he has started.
  
  Once seated on his throne in Jerusalem, (after Armageddon) the nations (people that are left) will be gathered before him and the sheep and goats judgment will then take place. Those that were friendly toward the Israelis during the GT will be allowed to enter.
  
  Those that were aligned with the Anti-Christ and blamed the Israelis for everything will not be allowed the enter the Millennium.
  
  A cursed and disfellowshipped Jewish King who walked out of a tomb 2000 years ago will then rule the world with fairness and peace for a thousand years.

  How Many Different Bibles / Translations ,Interpretations Of Scripture ,Has The WTB&TS Printed Over The Years .?

  they have printed individual books of the old testament early on , and then the new testament .

  then the complete bible a few times , as well as the kingdom interlinear , a word for word translation of the greek into english.. as well as printing byington`s bible ,and the king james bible .. were their any others that i have missed ?.

  All of the Scriptures contradict Watchtower Theology!
  
  The Watchtower characterizes the whole bible as primarily a book of government, which contrasts man's various governments vs. God's government (kingdom)

  But the bible is actually a book that shows how a person can get right with God (avoid the penalty of sin), primarily through the use of two contracts (Testaments) .... The Old and the New Testaments. The word Testament means contract or Covenant.

  The Watchtower shakes their fist at God and basically says in essence, " I don't need your grace (covenant); my works ought to be enough for you".... like Cain.
  
  Also like Cain, that sacrifice is rejected, while only the blood sacrifice of Able is acceptable. This helps to explain the vitriolic hatred that Jehovah's Witnesses have for Christians that accept the blood covenant that Jesus offered to "whosoever", while they reject it each Memorial.

  JW's are very proud of their works, and so they get what they ask for .... a judgment based upon their works.
  
  In Christianity, adherents see the futility of earning sonship with God and accept the work of God on the Cross as a "Substitution" for their personal sin penalty, which clears the way for a legal adoption into God's family if sought.

  New Light, the teaching that has morphed into Old Alibi

  as far as i recall watchtower's new light doctrine was conceived from the very first issue of zion's watchtower and herald of christ's presence, 1879. c.t.

  russell used it then as an alibi for his failed 1874 and 1878 dates.

  1874 was eventually replaced by 1914 and the rest is history.. well, they've been using the alibi ever since -- for the some 24 failed events that were supposed to happen in 1914 to the 49 failed dates over the years.. at the heart and soul of watchtower's "new light" teaching is proverbs 4:18, ".

  It's also an unwise conclusion that "the bright morning light that grows brighter and brighter until full daylight" has even the slightest bearing in our day on whether Watchtower teachings evolve in one way or the other.

  A basic Christian teaching is that doctrine is "fixed" by the apostles. It cannot morph and certainly cannot flip-flop once presented by the apostles.
  
  Paul wrote the below words to address this very issue, after seeing how some folks were easily fooled by those that would change the gospel.
  
  Galatians 1 - I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

  7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

  8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

  Proof - God is not speaking through the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses

  with this thread - i’m currently in pimo –mode - 10 years -in for 40 years- wife a pioneer (maybe this could be a source for someone as a book idea, handout if there isn’t one already).

  i am hoping to develop coming up with at least 101 reasoning points using only wt publications, bible facts (hebrew/greek text as well) and quotable things from jw broadcast we can prove that god is not with jehovah’s witnesses and its governing body.

  (101 seem to be common number when used for a book format) i’m sure there are websites out there that list many of the flip-flops; however we can use this thread for this specific topic.

  This is an easy test to see if JW's are with God.

  Quote this scripture:

  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth - Phil 2: 10

  Say, "Since everyone in heaven, earth and below the earth are commanded to bow the knee to Jesus, would it be OK if we did that together right now to ask God's blessing on our discussion? "

  End of discussion.

  JW's will never willingly bow their knees to Jesus Christ because they are not his.

  I was fooled by a cult and view all religious evangelizers with suspicion now

  We were all fooled by this cult because we put our trust in men. But, in all fairness evangelists have been preaching against religiosity and for a personal relationship with Christ since the apostles.
  
  The bible is full of references warning against trusting in men. That's my kind of preaching!

  The Watchtower concept of Christianity is opposite to the historical Christian message, which doesn't change. Past preachers .... unrelated to one another preached the same message.
  
  Religion (ideology) vs. Relationship .... that's the choice that confronts man ever since a certain man walked out of a tomb 2000 years ago.

  my judicial committee was set for monday.

  the message says to call back asap and that he loves me, but he said it like "i love ya, girl" he never has said that to me like that.

  so, i call back and he says i have been a hard person to get a hold of and that confused me because i had not received any calls from him.

  Sorry to hear about your shunning. People have been sacrificing their children to false gods for a long time. Your father sees this as a battle of the gods..... his vs. Jesus alone.

  He said that worshipping Jesus was wrong and I offered to send him several scriptures stating the opposite.

  Buried within all the leagalism baloney.... we get to the real reason for your harsh treatment. Once a person trusts Jesus alone, they are are far more resistant to manipulation, new light, refinements, adjustments, changing medical rules, date setting schemes, hype, scare tactics etc. This is the ONLY issue that this is all about. You fired Molech and they don't like it, plain and simple.

  At age 40, I had to chop my own family tree down. I started my own family, had two more sons.

  Your previous family is utterly deceived. But, you are free now. Freedom is a very precious and costly thing. Determine how you will use your freedom and do it.
